John Marshall is a creative force.
A 9-time Emmy award-winning TV producer/screenwriter/filmmaker/designer, the author of the Random House memoir “Wide-Open World” and the creator of the popular Instagram page Sunset Selfies, John brings a diverse skill set to the Miracle Foundation team. He’s also an orphan champion in his own right.
After a long career as Creative Director for a group of television stations, John left the industry in 2014 and began living at an Indian orphanage, spending the better part of the next 6 years telling stories and raising money for orphan projects around the world. He’s also the Founder & Chief Storyteller at Teach Her, a service organization that offers college education to orphaned girls.
John’s genuine enthusiasm for and commitment to the children we serve is obvious to everyone who meets him. Beyond work, he loves movies, playing the guitar, travel and warm weather. He has two children and divides his time between Maine, Florida and the world.
