Brandon is a proven entrepreneur and technology leader who, over the past 19 years, has been involved with, founded, and built several software startups in the Austin area. A fellow Longhorn, Brandon began his career as a full-stack developer. While still a student, he started his first company designing websites and software for local, state, and national political campaigns and committees. His second company developed patented intelligence-gathering software with worldwide deployments, including for the DOD (Army DCGS, SOCOM, and the DIA) with active operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Most recently, Brandon led the development of new technologies and innovations for another Austin startup in the healthcare industry, bringing together big data techniques, modern data science practices, event-based microservice architectures, and advanced AI/ML into a single integrated platform designed to proactively predict and eliminate expired and overstocked inventory and medical supplies. When not working, Brandon and his daughter Kate enjoy almost anything that involves the outdoors.
