With over 14 years of experience developing and expanding programs for vulnerable populations worldwide, Hina is a well-established leader in the non-profit sector. As the Senior Program Director at LIFT-DC, she oversaw a team of more than 17 local programs, forged partnerships with government and private sectors, and adapted local strategies to meet changing circumstances and achieve programmatic goals.

Previously, Hina served as Executive Director at Houston Southeast, a state government organization committed to promoting social and economic development in a low-income Houston area. She also conducted field research and spearheaded new development programs focused on poverty alleviation for women in Pabna while working for a microfinance organization in Bangladesh. Additionally, she initiated programs for a non-profit in Thailand that offered formal education and after-school and non-curricular activities to vulnerable children living in government schools. Hina holds a BA in Government from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters of Public Administration (MPA) from the Harvard Kennedy School.
