With a decade-long background in nonprofit development work at organizations such as Lifeworks and The Andy Roddick Foundation, Karen brings her expertise to Miracle Foundation. Throughout her professional journey and volunteer engagements, she remains dedicated to championing causes that uplift the most vulnerable. Karen’s skill set encompasses various talents, from orchestrating impactful events and overseeing boards of directors to cultivating individual donations, securing corporate sponsorships, and fostering partnerships.

A native of Mexico, Karen’s heart resonates deeply with the rights and well-being of children across the globe. She holds a Communication degree and a Master of Arts in Human Services with a focus on Administration, both from St. Edward’s University.

Outside of work, Karen indulges in Austin’s delicious food, often sharing these experiences with her husband and two sons.
